New Car

For those of you who follow this blog you saw the state of our car after an accident two weeks ago. As you may have surmised, it was totaled. Sadly, they insurance company did not share my emotional attachment to the car and my complete disdain of car shopping.

That being said, we purchased a new car last week. This decision was made following long hours looking at cars and even longer hours reading Consumer Reports guides and discussing the issue. We had hoped for a used car but we unable to make that work.

Without further ado, here is the newest member of our household – a 2014 Toyota Prius V

We dirtied it some driving to Giles Blueberry Farm to pick some of our favorite fruit and are hoping to properly break it in with a camping trip or two before the end of summer
